Tom Harvey started Harvey Plumbing in 1987 after working for several years in the construction industry. In the beginning, Tom did all of the fieldwork himself while his wife Kim managed the office. Tom’s son, Scott, helped his father during school breaks. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Scott returned to the family business. Scott now serves as the General Manager of Harvey Plumbing.
Teaching the Trade
Over the past nineteen years, Harvey Plumbing has grown quickly in size and reputation. Many employees start as laborers and learn the plumbing trade through on-the-job training. Lead Project Foreman, Jason Jackson, has been with Harvey Plumbing for nearly fifteen years. Jason is an integral part of training employees to meet the industry’s highest standards.
